Valcourt Building Services formed its Risk Management Department at its corporate headquarters in 2003, and is dedicated to managing our insurance programs, claims and safety services to our clients as well as to our workers.

With approximately 500 workers performing window cleaning, waterproofing and restoration services every day, risk management is of paramount importance to us. We take great pride in our exceptional work history and have one of the lowest ratios of incidents at our job sites in the industry. All of this has afforded us the opportunity to provide for our clients insurance carriers with ratings of A++ by A.M. Best. We have one of the most comprehensive insurance packages available today. In addition to the statutory required workers compensation insurance, Valcourt provides excess liability insurance coverage with aggregate limits of $11,000,000. We also carry mold and pollution coverage as well as Care, Custody, and Control as additional insurances not usually covered under most standard insurance packages.

With Valcourt Building Services’ size and experience, we can easily take on any job within our areas of competence from bonded multimillion dollar restoration contracts to the smallest window cleaning job. Our diverse geographic locations permit us to serve customers who have multiple facilities in different locations.

Valcourt has a drug free workplace with pre-employment screening and random testing, and is very active in maintaining and advancing this initiative throughout the industry. We also certify the drivers of our vehicles by completing a thorough background check, and have safety decals on our vehicles so the general public can report on our drivers while they are in the field. We also equip all field vehicles with Global Positioning System (GPS).

Our Regional Safety Managers, unique to our industry, were hired as safety professionals. It is their responsibility to ensure that our safety programs are operating as designed in each of our branches.
