To ensure structural integrity as well as a leak-free environment, the client’s operations team knew it was time to replace the expansion joints along elevated roadway surfaces.

Valcourt Waterproofing & Restoration was selected for our expertise and responsiveness. Our team was able to mobilize quickly for an on-time start to the high-visibility expansion joint removal and replacement project.

Technicians immediately removed existing joints and cleaned out debris to prepare each joint opening for new grout infill. Once grout was installed and cured, watertight foam joint was applied to prevent water intrusion below the expansion joint.

Lastly, our teams installed new vehicular rated cover plates according to manufacturer specifications.

Due to the high volume of pedestrian activity, meticulous planning and rigorous safety measures were implemented across all work zones to ensure the well-being of visitors and workers alike.

Despite minor delays due to weather, work was completed without complication.
