Erik Aubel

Erik Aubel is the General Manager of the Waterproofing and Restoration Division at Valcourt Group, overseeing operations across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

Formerly a Senior Project Manager at Valcourt, Erik brings over 20 years of experience managing complex construction projects in both the U.S. military and private sector. His expertise spans logistics, leadership, and operational execution. Erik approaches every project as an opportunity to align each client’s unique goals with a successful, lasting outcome.

Erik earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy, where he was a four-year member of the Varsity Offshore Sailing Team and held several leadership positions. After commissioning as a United States Marine Aviator, he flew the AV-8B Harrier before transitioning to serve as a Logistics Officer. He deployed multiple times to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other global locations, honing his skills in logistics coordination, team leadership, and project management—experience that continues to shape his leadership style today.

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Erik now lives in Severna Park, Maryland, with his wife, four children, dog, and cats. Outside of work, he enjoys sailing, woodworking, and traveling—including a memorable 10-week cross-country adventure with his family, during which they visited 19 national parks.
